What is the course about?
Runchat is a node based visual canvas where users can build creative AI workflows to utilise in their design process. It’s an all-in-one AI platform that allows for seamless integration between a multitude of AI models.
In this course, we’re going to take workflows typically used throughout the architectural design process and we’ll translate them into Runchat workflows so they can be re-used across multiple projects and contexts. These workflows will focus on the different stages of the architectural design process; Pre-design, Design, Construction and Visualisation. These workflows will demonstrate ways you can use AI as an assistant in your design process to augment your own capabilities, whilst still being the ultimate architect of your design outcomes

This lesson will introduce users to Runchat and explains it’s a useful tool for Architects.
Runchat is a node based visual canvas where users can string together various AI tools to create small units of software called workflows. In this lesson we look at the Runchat interface and introduce how architects can interact with nodes to create architectural workflows.
The Pre-design design phase is where architects research and gather information to support the concept design phase. In this lesson we develop Runchat workflows to assist with site & precedent analysis and produce architectural media to inform the following design stages.
The concept design phase is where architects use the information gathered in the pre-design phase to iterate through design ideas using sketches and diagrams as tools to explain the design concept. In this lesson we develop Runchat workflows useful for defining the formative ideas of the building. In this lesson we develop workflows that iterate through form, scale and mass. We build workflows that test façade appearance and material tectonics. And we show how to integrate other architectural software with Runchat workflows
